Rattle in trunk area
Hey guys,
I've been getting some major rattling noise in the trunk area, I took out the foam trim under the liner along with the "fill-a-tire". So all that's left is the battery and this metal trim over this hump in the trunk. I'm pretty sure that's the culprit, but do you guys know what it's for? Any suggestions as to what to do with it? Its been about -5c to -10c degrees right now, got progressively worse as it got more cold.
Thanks!

Hey Reggie,
I think it is a suspension issue now. Read more about the DRC in the cold. I had them replaced last December and the worked flawlessly in the cold temperature, then when the temp dropped just a bit here, the clunk/rattling started happening. I didn't think it was DRC, but I have a feeling it might be now. Dropped the car off at the dealership this morning, should be warrantied.

Well, I guess Audi is not going to warranty the DRC, I'm 38km over my 20k warranty. I just purchased a set of Bilstein PSS9's, been trying to search more information on them regarding the RS4, but I haven't found concrete information. Can any of you guys chime in regarding the setup of the CO's. Read some sort of "dial settings, such as 4 or 5 on each corner" Not sure which is the best set up to be on par of DRC or better.
Thanks!
Thanks!
