Tremblant was fantastic. I don't have pictures or even videos this time but..
I did meet up with both Scott (RI RS4) and Peter (Ubercar).
I think they had a great time too. Peter soloed at Tremblant and then I went for a ride in his car to show him some "different" lines on the track. Peter's car sounded great (Miltek) and handled well (STaSIS Motorsport suspension).
The brakes were very good on both cars although I'm not sure how hard they are pushing them. we did use some of my heat sensitive paint on the rotors but they will ave to tell you what temperatures they reached (I was too busy).
Another instructor test drove a student's RS4 and pushed it hard. His general comments were that the car was very good, very safe but that you can tell it is a very heavy car. He was very pleased with it and actually surprised by it (this from a BMW owner). However he did manage to get some brake fade but I believe the car had stock pads and fluids. The outside air temp never reached above the mid 60s at best during the weekend so it was on the cool side of things.
I'll try to see if the Track Photographer took some shots of my car and post them.

The last pic...my sig pic? That be.....
Pennsylvania Vietnam Vet plate. Have another on my TDI.
Mont Tremblant is a special venue...the track, the area, the people, the restaurants, the village, the time-of-the-year...the WOMEN, to name just a few. )
PS only complaint is the friggen Montreal traffic jam in the afternoon on Autoroute 15!!!

I shoulda figured that...ours (NY) is a little too conspicous for me. Noodling
over whether to get the simple "vet" plate.
If I track next year, I will need to re-order some priorities...sporting clays shooting is an important part of many weekends during good weather. But it is sounding more and more tempting.

Conspicuous is ok...an 'earned' right of passage.
