I ask because both of the M3's (sedan and coupe) I saw yesterday had steel roofs with sunroofs. Thats gotta add some serious weight. Why would you order that on the coupe if you have the option of the CF roof?? I wonder what % of the incoming coupes are CF roofed?

I heard a 100lb difference between the sedan and coupe. But there is no way that can be true since the weights reported in the magazines are with the CF roof on the coupe, no? Very confusing.

I'd like to see a weight reported on the 4-door with sunroof. Would be interesting.

isn't all that different, no matter what you make it from. The CF roof is just a cute marketing trick and easy enough to build into the car, seeing as there are no complex curves.

The A3 has a very complex double sunroof, and in the corners the handling difference between it and a car w/o the sunroof is very pronounced.
