No fade, but a bit of a long pedal...
Track sessions were 25 minutes each. If I pushed it a bit deep in the braking zones for several laps in a row the brake point got low enough to the floor that it made heel/toe difficult. I was kind of zinging it a bit on downshifts until I figured out what was happening. Probably need different pads and perhaps fluid. I'm also uncertain about whether or not it might need a bit of bleeding. The car has 3500 miles on it, and other than an oil change at 2K has had nothing done to it.
No gyrations or anything like that. The wind was gusting heavily but the car was solid as it peaked at just over 130 on the main straight. The only braking squirreliness was due to track surface irregularities and driver issues.
Must have gotten 15-20 compliments on the way the car sounds. There may be some dealers getting more inquiries from those on the fence. My instructor, for one, is seriously considering one. His track car is a 95 M3 Factory Lightweight. His is one of the 85 made.

I was being passed. But I had just passed the Porsche that is further down the track.
The RS4 would out power many cars on the track, but the Corvettes were in a different league.

Uh. The Porsche wasn't passed because it was out powered...
These events are about learning how to drive, not beating the other guy. On several occasions I let people by not because I couldn't have stayed ahead, but I was more interested in practicing to be smooth and consistent. The thrill of the chase tends to interfere with that process.

Thanks, good to know. Maybe some high temp fluid and pads would help. I don't know what
I don't know what Audi uses for fluids and pads, I'd bet there are improvements to be made to the fluid and the pads.
Reportedly the Ms 'Ring taxi uses different pads from stock, and that's it.
It would seem that's all you'd have needed, eh?
