Default To rotate or not...

Here's the question:
I looking to get Work wheels for the summer in 20X9.5. I think the 3" rear lip and 2" front lip look awesome however, that will mean no tire rotation. I have always rotated my tires and have gotten 30,000+ out my stock PS2's.
How much will keeping the shoes fixed effect tire life on an RS4? The other option is to just go with 2" all around but... you know.

Default It will definitely reduce tire life. The inside front tires wear much faster...

on these cars and ive always found it helpful to get another 50% out of mine on all my audi cars I have had to rotate F to R every 3 to 5K miles. It's sometimes hard to even see the inside wear on the fronts as it is usually way on the inside near the tread blocks.

Default I did not, mine wore evenly.

They were both done with very even tread wear across all four tires.

But I only got 9500 out of mine (OEM P-zeros).

Default Ya, your roads must be a LOT better than the crumbled 2-track paths Michigan.

I need a H2-Hummer around here, the roads are **** - even 19's are pushing it.

Default the size of the lip has nothing to do with ability to rotate the tires.

if all of the wheels are 20x9.5, and you use the same size tires at all 4 corners, you can rotate them. however, if you're planning a 'staggered' fitment (wider tires at the rear), then you can't rotate. keep in mind you have to be *very* careful to keep to overall rolling diameter between front and rear within 1-2% with a staggered fitment, otherwise you risk damaging the AWD system. it's generally not recommended for that reason.
