It was a small AOA addendum to the service guide stating that the first oil change was extended to the 10,000 mile service. Question, is this to wear in the motor ie. "loosen it up" or cheapness on AOA's part? No reason given for the change on addendum.
I'm leaning towards a change on my dime @ 1500 to 2000 miles.

that's the recommended point, but they'd probably pay for it earlier too.

Sounds like cheapness to me. I've never heard of first change @ 10k miles
