I bought my RS4 privately. Is there a list of dealers that are "certified" to work on RS-cars? I do not have confidence in my local dealer to have them near the car. I don't know if they even have "S" cars on the lot.

My understanding, is that when I tried to order a 2003 RS6 from my dealer, there where only certain (and few) "RS certified" dealers. I was told that the restriction was removed for the RS4, which allowed me to order one from my tiny dealer. Mine is the only RS4 that they ever sold, while there is one other RS4 in town that they service.

The RS4 can be serviced by any dealer (unlike the R8). That being said, the DRC system takes some edumacation that some dealers have not bothered with. Routine: any you trust. DRC work: ask around. My opinion, anyway.

I am headed to Park Place Motorcars in ROchester MN for service. They have seen several RS's there for the DRC work. I got in touch with an RS6 owner that has work done there and has been happy with the results. Thanks for the input.
