Default i wonder if it's the same white Ti avant I saw 2 yrs ago at Ingolstadt
and just switched up the interior...

Default I doubt it.
They seem to cycle cars pretty regularly. I was there 3 times in the last year and they had mostly different cars each time.

It's less expensive for them overall to just put a different car there than to swap out a whole interior, paint the grill, etc.

just seems far-fetched to me that producing a whole 'nother car would be cheaper than putting some extra labor (presumably not working on a critical line item) to swap out seats, trim, wheel, and grill...

easier to execute and coordinate? maybe, but cheaper? not sure.

how do you figure it'd be cheaper for them?

Well, I'm thinking they probably just sell the car that was on display and pull another off the assembly line and park it for a couple of months.

I'll be there again in March. I could ask them...
