RS4 build
A friend was asking me last night about the RS4 chassis. Is it the A4 chassis with all the RS4 "stuff" put on, or is the RS4 chassis purpose built from the ground up? I know Quattro makes the car, not audi, and I recall reading that it shares very little with the A4 (Something like water pump and front doors)

IIRC, they send bare 8E chassis from ingolstadt to neckarsulm, where Quattro then builds the RS4.
and they share a lot more than just the water pump and front doors. virtually all of the electronics are shared, for example.
