RS4 Delivered Today
After driving my partner's car last week (soon after his delivery) I was sold. There were several cars available in Southern California and I was able to execute on a Daytona Gray in just a couple of days for a modest discount off sticker. i understand that many dealers are adding substantial mark up.
Car was delivered to my office this afternoon. I put a couple of Starbuck's Run miles on it. Looking forward to the drive home.

Re: Broker? Explain--My experience
The link to the article on brokers, apparently written by a dealership association, is nevertheless, pretty accurate.
The broker I dealt with was sent my way by a business partner who has used him many times. I asked him to explain how he made his money. He told me much the same as outlined in the article.
But in my case, this time, I did better with the broker after shopping two local and one out-of-state dealer. At this point, no one is really dealing on these cars. Much too early, I think. He told me that this sale was zero profit for him but he hoped I would send him clients.
The whole process was very easy. Really just a few phone exchanges. The car was delivered to my office by an employee from the dealership that actually sold me the car. All paperwork was in the dealership's name. No issue with any of it.
I didnt really care what he made, as I ended up with a reasnable deal.
