RS4 destined to become a classic?
After all the favorable motoring press, rave owner reviews and end of production nigh, do you expect the RS4 will have an enduring legacy? Or, is this just another model in a distinguished lineage?

Re: It'll be a classic to Audi fans and many car enthusiasts.
I really like my RS4. Its right up there with some of my favorite past toys (29 model street rod, 68 Dart 340 4 speed, 72 Cuda),only to list a few out of many. I don't believe 20 or 30 years from now the 2007 RS4 will have the same legendary status as the likes of an R/T Challenger or a 68 Judge or a 56 T-Bird. I do, however believe the RS4 will hold a place with street tuners for the next 5-10 years as a legend - one of those cars you only hear about but never see. I already get that from some of the local street geeks.

How long do you want to hang onto it? Some cars become classics within 10 years of introduction.
Others will take 20 or 30 years.
Much depends on who buys the cars now, and the economic climate in 10 to 30 years from now.

It will, in the year 2057.
