The B8 RS4 is a reality, but will come with the RS5 drivetrain (DSG, 450 hp V8) and will be produced as an Avant, and won't come to the US. We'll see it debut at Geneva next spring. We will see the RS5 in the US, but not until next March time frame as we will get the facelifted version - and it will still have the 450 hp V8 in it.

^^^don't post that on RS246 john...you'll be lynched.
Everyone's convinced that quattro is going to use Audi's 4.0TT V8. Wishful thinking I'd say, as it would userp the RS5 performance wise, and would see the updated 4.2 FSI NA setup tossed aside for no really good reason...in favour of the more 'mainstream' S6/7/8 setup.
