Is an RS4 as fast as a 360 modena?

My friend in Dallas has a 360 spider with the F1 shifting. My RS4 won 3 out of 4...
0-70 MPH. Both were stock with about 5000 miles at the time. No way either an RS4 or 360 would get smoked by the other, it's very close. On a track the Ferrari would probably have an advantage due to its weight, if both are stock.

My experience at Lime Rock
I lapped one during a session at Lime Rock and have it on film. It was driven by a more experienced driver, but he must not be confident or crazy enough to push it because our cars should be close on a track like that.

In my relatively limited on track experience...
Few cars are as easy to drive at the limit as these. I can essentially be 9/10ths in this car without feeling like I am risking my retirement fund. You will not get the same warm and fuzzy feeling from a 360. Faster? yes. More "exciting"? Definitely. Risky? well if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be pushing it...

I have an RS4 and a 360 CS... not a Modena... but...
...even in a Modena, I would beat my RS4 on any track that turned left or right. I love my RS4, and love the Stasis Ohlins on it, but a 1000lbs weight differential between the cars goes a long way. It takes more than HP to over come weight if you plan on not just going straight. The physics of a 4000lbs car being thrown around the track is hard to make up even with the best suspension, tires, brakes, etc. The gravity is hard to over come.
However, all that being said...if you get a chance to run your RS4 against a Modena on a road course, he'll probably spin off and you'll win. Audi's are way easier to drive.
