Thread jack... I'm interested in some info on your Carbon Fibre hood, can we talk about it?

Default its being delivered tomorrow....

should be installing it on Wednesday hopefully. IF not its going to have to wait until next week. Got it from GMG. Painting the hood took the longest and I'd say they were kind of slow in getting the shipping out. Being shipped by Daylight Transportation.

Default Thanks I'll like some pictures of it and how it was built. Some CF hoods I'm told are flimsy and...

Will actually deform at high speeds because they are structurally not sound or week.

Are you going to run hood pins?

Default yeah i have heard those things also...

i asked about the hood pins and i keep getting mixed emotions. although i am doing the CF hood more for aesthetic reasons and to upgrade the nice size dent in my factory hood, i won't be doing much racing...besides the normal highway driving

maybe with more and more cases coming up about the hoods having issues, companies have been building them better. i'll have to see how well the hood shuts with the factory latches.

Default Well I'd appreciate your feed back on the unit. In any case it doesn't look like...

They carry B6 stuff.
