The RS4 makes me happy when not driving it too
I had just left work last night and right in front of Borders on Washington St in Downtown x-ing (Boston) there was a black 06 S4 with RS4 replica rims (18's I think). I was looking at the car and kind of smiling. The driver thought I was smiling because his car was hot. I was really smiling because I was thinking to myself, "you should try the real thing, buddy".
I kept laughing to myself the whole way to my garage.

Sure I'll try the real thing if I could afford it
But honestly, the stock rims on the A4 for example sucks, and the RS4 replica rims improves the looks of the car greatly.
I'm not going to go off and stick a S4 or RS4 badge on the car obviously - people who do that I just roll my eyes and continue on.

Then again he could be saying Damn I wish I had bought a RS4!
because if I had a 997 I would be driving it!
I do understand your point though, I never judge ANYONE based on their car anyway.

There are thousands of rims on the market. You don't think buying RS4 replicas is posing?
What is the difference between putting M badges on a 330 and putting RS4 rims on an S4? I am all about making whatever car you have as nice as you can, but I do not condone being an imposter.
Also, to clarify, I wasn't knocking the guy for owning an S4. I owned one before the RS4. It's like watching people eating the porter house at TGIFridays on your way home from eating at the Capitol Grille. I'm sure they are enjoying their steak, but if they had one bite of my meal, they would put their fork down.
