RS4 only to be made for 2007
Was at an audi dealer in CT today and my salesperson said the RS4 is limited to only the 2007 model year. He said the RS4 line will potentially be made again in 3 or 4 years. Similar to what happened with the RS6, he said the RS6 may be in production again for 2008.
Has anyone heard anything different? If it sells well and is in high demand I can't see why Audi will not continue to make it even if they limit the number of cars made.

i've heard that they will have a 3 year production run. If they do, I'll be pretty pissed if in the next two year models they bring rs4's over to the us with the flat bottom steering wheels and the really awesome racing seats.

That is called Salesman Commission Breath.
They will say anything to close the sale Now, Today Only. This is the last RS4 in the world, if you don't buy it now you will forever regret it. My wife was recently told that if she didn't buy the Toyota FJ Cruiser she was looking at that day, the price would go up $4000 the next day. Bring your hip boots next time you go into a dealer or better yet some chest waders.
The word from the regional south east rep is that there will be a 2007, 2008 and 2009 RS4. Though I am sure that could change.
