Default RS4 Registry: Audi meets their 2007 RS4 sales goal!

At the time the RS4 was introduced, Audi announced sales goal of 1,000 RS4's per year in the U.S. for both MY2007 and MY2008. Guess what? 1,025 cars have been ordered or sold in the U.S. so far. And we still have several months production in MY2007. Personally, I am happy to see the popularity of this great Audi vehicle.

RS4 VIN Registry

Default 2nd. Greater popularity also means higher probability of aftermarket enhancements from tuners.

Have you considered approaching AOA for official backing? I'm sure the RS4 community is one they want to maintain good relations with. Your registry is great start to effective CRM for them.

Do Audi Corp & SOT cars count as those 1000 cars?

Cool. Also means more CPO cars in two or three years.

Default Yes.

On the list there 1023 cars, 31 of which are Corporate and 2 that are Canadian. I counted the Corporate cars in the total sales. I have seen one Imola Corporate car on eBay already but I really do not know how many have been sold off. Hopefully, the SOT cars are not sitting in some unknowing person's garage.

Default I have not approached AoA

I have been concerned that they actually might not like the registry floating around the internet and ask me to shut it down. Sometimes manufacturers are tight-lipped about their production and sales figures. I have a good relationship with an anonymous (but obviously well-connected) source within the AoA family that has gone to great lengths to provide everything I have needed. I have not felt the need to rock the boat.

Understood. That is very shrewd of you. I had not considered that angle.
