The RS4 registry has grown very quickly over the past couple of weeks. We currently have over 300 cars on the list. If Audi sticks with their annual production plan of 1000 cars for the US in 2007 and 2008, over 30% of the 2007 and 15% of the total US production are already on the list. I think this is pretty amazing considering it is still August 2006.

Everyone has been very generous in their support of this project. People have been reporting RS4's they have seen. Owners have been sending in their information. The online classified have been scoured to find RS4 listings. A few dealers have sent in information about cars passing through their dealerships. Finally, an anonymous source within Audi has provided a great deal of information about a large number of cars.

I am still missing blocks of information on some of the earlier cars so if you run across anything, please let me know.

Very nice and thanks again. What does 2007a and 2007b represent?

It is just a differentiation of mid-year changes made to the RS4's. The launch cars had black interior buttons, limited colors, a larger antenna. The "newer" 2007 car have buttons with silver trim, customs colors are available, and the antenna is smaller.
