What would it take to create a small spare tire assembly? For example: an S4 donut with ?-size spacers. I have to road-trip through New Mexico and highly doubt the tire size/type I may potentially need will be readily available.

if you have room for it, you might as well get a full-size spare. I don't think you'll find a donut that will fit over the front brakes.

I carry a stock RS4 wheel/tire and a torque wrench and jack. (Also shock cords for spare.)

Sorry, my 2003 S4 Avant only had a donut, my S8 had a full size and this thing doesn't have either. I do have an extra full size but needed to save room for packages as it takes up over half of the trunk. Just for fun, you should put one of your tires in the trunk to see how little room you have left and why I would like a donut. Thank you for your help.

There was no 2003 S4 in europe or usa 2000-2002 was B5 2004-2005 was B6 2005.5-200X is B7

There were a few B5 S4 vehicles which were 2003 models. I was lucky enough to purchase an Avant. Most of the parts were from the 2002 production run but it was titled, stickered and sold by Audi as a 2003, just as it was insured by State Farm as such. Your post is irrelevant to the main topic, what was your point again???? ....and thank you for contributing something amazingly beneficial to resolve the issue, nothing like ingenuity and thinking outside the box to help solve the problem.
