RS4 trip to Whistler...
Twisty mountain roads. RS4. Twisty mountain roads. Fun.
Only downside was that a lot of road construction for the 2010 Winter Olympics is underway so lots of blasting delays.
Four Seasons Whister is also highly rated, my RS4 got front row parking next to a A8L W12 and a couple BMW's and the service was impecable. Perfect place for a 5 day conference!
Best part was driving down the mountain in the RS4 with the wife screaming "slow the #%$#%# down!"

Going up there to golf the big four...
I can't wait! I don't know if it's the golf I'm more excited about or the drive!

I drove the sea to sky highway last month to Whistler in my S4. That highway is very dangerous -- some fool pulled out right in front of me while crossing the highway. I could have easily killed him if the brakes weren't so good in the S4. I braked hard and even slid onto the shoulder a little to miss the tail end of his car. And yeah my wife yelled in my ear...
I used to live in Vancouver and there were constantly fatal accidents on that road. But still, you can't help but drive way over the limit it's just so much fun. It's the other bad drivers that you have to worry about though. I think BC has some of the worst drivers in North America.

I'm around this weekend, leave Tuesday for Switzerland for 10 days. That will be fun as I'm getting picked up in Zurich by my buddy with the heavily tuned RS6 (it's insanely effortlessly fast) to haul me out to the country for meetings.... Maybe he'll let me drive...!

Hey, another RS4 owner here, trolling the boards. I'm new to vancouver, but I hear that that road is just fantastic to drive on. I may try to hit it some weekday when there isn't too much traffic.
Congrats on your RS4, maybe we can get together sometime and snap some pictures with 3 of them!
