from S4 DTM to RS4, worth it?
I really wish my S4 can go little bit faster so i test drove 08 RS4 with Titanium Pkg.
It was fun but I couldn't feel it's WOW fast. All those DIS functions and steering feeling, ride was great but not THAT fast.
Give me some input about going to RS4.

The power gain over 4.2 S4 comes at very high revs, so it's a little deceptive.
The total package is heavily in favor of the RS4... I had a '05 B6 S4 and have driven the RS4. There is a considerable step up in performamce, features, and styling, so use your own judgement.

The car might not have been broken in and you need to get above 5500 to really feel the difference..
I came from a B6 S4 and a B5 S4 before that and YES it's worth it.

I went from a 2.0T A4 to the RS4 and skipped over the S4
So after a few weeks of owning the RS4 went to another dealer with a friend looking to buy a TT and test drove a pre owned S4. The lack of torque between the S4 and the RS4 was pretty noticeable and the lack of exterior styling on the S4 just makes me like the RS that much better. It's well worth the 15-17K bump for driving something unique.
And just think the RS4 gets better fuel economy.
