Have just ordered my RS4 Avant - expecting end of Sept. The only issue I have is I so nearly ordered an S6 Avant instead because of the tail lights. I know it sounds silly but they are sooooo cool. Not to mention the thing has MMI etc. My question to anyone who may know or at least point me in the correct direction - does anyone make similar tail lights that would go onto my RS4 Avant?
This has now become a gotta have it thing for me!!! Ok so I'm mad but everyone has something they gotta have.

Any ideas gratefully received.

You made the right decision, believe me. S6 Avant is a pretty boring car to drive. RS4 is in a totally different league in my opinion. I would pick the S6 over the RS4 only if I absolutely needed the extra space. LED tail lights are nice but they don't make the car exciting to drive.

Audi doesn't bother updating old models with LED lights. Most future models probably have LEDs

I agree with you views. Tried an RS4 and within 1 minute - had to have one. Only waited this long as the Avant is perfect for my needs. Tried the S6 Avant out of curiousity and although it does have loads of nice toys, you are right - not the same league and i don't need the extra space. Currently have an S3 MTM so this will be a big step up on all accounts not that the S3 is a bad car.

Still want the tail lights though. I can't be the only one that would go out and buy them if someone made them to fit the RS4. I really think it would just make the car.

The S3 is definitely a great car, especially a chipped one. I almost bought an S3 about six years ago. I think it still looks very nice after all these years. It will be interesting to see how good the new S3 will be.

I agree about the tail lights. It would have been a nice if Audi had added LEDs to RS4 to make it even more special. And maybe a HUD display, mmmmmh...
