Saw first RS4 on Dallas streets
Stopped & talked. He just topped 6000 miles. Got oil light at 3500 miles, and has had to add quarts her & there. Told him about the forum. Any other RS4 from Dallas/FTW area?

I have seen only one in Marlton, NJ....
looked like a gray color and the guy driving it looked like he weighed about 300+lbs so needless to say... he looked to be stuffed in that car.

Friend of mine in the Philly area can't even find one to buy...
His lease on his '04 S4 is up in April, and he has yet to see one.
He was out here in L.A. on business and told me this, so we swung by Santa Monica Audi and sat in the Avus Silver RS4 on the showroom floor.
On that note, I've been in four different L.A. Audi dealers in the last month, and all had at least three of these beasts in stock.

Southern California is a different animal when it comes to cars......
It is such a car-crazy part of the country. Look at all the aftermarket shops, boutiques, and tuners jammed into that region too. When I was at Disney this past summer with my kids, I saw 6 Vipers sitting out at a basic Dodge dealership. Almost every dealer has everything in stock and waiting to be delivered. Bentley, Ferrari, Lambo......you name it. The rest of the country just isn't like that.
Think about the fact that there are 1200 RS4's currently in the U.S. that are sold or ordered. About 200 or so are in California. That leaves 1000 for the rest of the country. Now some states like South Dakota for instance, may only have 2-3 cars in the entire state, and no doubt there will be a few little pockets of owners around NYC, Boston, Miami, DC which are the wealthiest East Coast cities. Outside of that, an RS4 will be a rare sighting. Look at it this way.... there are more Toyota Camrys sitting on one dealer lot in some dumpy little town than there are RS4's anywhere in any given state with the exception of California. I live in Massachusetts and have yet to physically see another RS4 other than my own.
