Schumi to drive for Audi?
Audi offer Schumi massive deal
19/10/2006 11:48 - (SA)
Berlin - Audi have made a massive $12.5m bid to secure the services of retiring Formula One star, Michael Schumacher..
According to www.F1-live.com, boss of the German manufacturer, Wolfgang Ullrich, is hoping the offer will convince Schumacher to enter Deutschen Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) or race at Le Mans.
The newspaper said $12.5m is more than the combined salary of all existing DTM drivers, including Schumacher's old F1 rival Mika Hakkinen.
But Ullrich cautioned: "I don't know if his contracts with Fiat and Ferrari would allow it."
Schumacher's spokesperson Sabine Kehm also played down the speculation, telling the BBC that he will 'miss the intensity (of racing) but really wants to let go for a while.

http://www.news24.com/News24/Sport/More_Sport/0,,2-9-32_2016594,00.html</a

I read that he was considering work in the development area with Ferrari F1.
I agree though, after you have the first 200 million in the bank you need to do what makes you happy. Out of selfish reasons I would like to continue to see him race, even better if it was in the Audi R10.

Look outside the box
Having Schumacher would be a huge draw not only for Audi but for whatever motorsport he happens to drive in, HUGE.
Now I do agree with the fact that is pocket change to him (cry). BMW supposedly offered him 100 million to drive for them just recently.
