Default Scratched TI wheel today

I turned in correctly out of a parking space and my wheel hit scratched against the curb. I feel like an idiot. The wheel looks kind of scratched but it isn't superbad. Are there anyways to fix it?

Default from experience...

most alloy wheel repair places only can do oem finish, with ti they usually send the rim out to be powdercoated. There are some detailers that touch up the rim to minimize the scratches appearance, but not perfect in any sense.

Default A good shop should be able to get it close

I had a standard wheel repaired and the shop told me they thought it was a powder-coat and very hard to match but that they could get about a 90% match. I went ahead and the match is about 98% to me and probably invisible to just about everyone else. I think a good shop could get very close on the titanium wheels.

Default Look in the AW technical section for Nasa Racer's wheel touchup guide. Yes, the colour will be

different, so you will need to figure out what matches. The rest still applies though.

Go almost to the bottom and the writeup is under GA

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel.html</a

Default The mobile guy that comes to my dealer (who scratched my wheel) got the color dead on...someone

even more **** than i would not like the blending of the spray across the wheel (texture rather than color an issue) but after 10 seconds of driving and new brake dust it is nearly impossible to see the repair area. So yes a good shop should be able to make it so no one else will ever know the difference.

Default I agree: the color is exact, the texture is off very slightly

Regardless, it is really hard to notice unless you know exactly where to look.
