SD card question - so do i just dump the MP3's right on the card? or do i have to do anything

special with directories or anything?

Make sure they arent in a folder, just the root directory of the card.

Default FYI, there is supposedly a mac program you can use to sync your SD card that will automatically (m)

convert your itunes purchases to the appropriate file format (mp3) and title format. I'll see if I can find a link to it.

Default You can place files in folders and then navigate them...

There is a 512 file+folder limit so in most cases 2gb cards are fine, unless you use a really high bit-rate.

I also found out recently that playlists are limited to 99 songs...

Default The screen will also show folder structure if your files are organized that way.

I use artist, then album and it works great for me.
