SD cards for MP3

SD cards for MP3
I am using 2Gb SD cards, and when loaded, the cards only read a portion of the files. I read the owner's manual, and it appears that the SD card reader in the RS4 has a maximum number of files (songs) it will read??? Anyone else with this issue, or suggestions for work around other than using smaller memory cards. 2 Gb cards are down in price to under $60, and soon larger cards will be very inexpensive. Seems goofy that we should be limited in memory of the radio head unit. Thanks, Gary

There is a song limit...
Plus make sure your songs do not have filenames longer than 64 characters. Any songs with longer than 64 character filenames will not appear. I had to rename quite a few of my files.
The song limit is in the manual - 400 I believe? My MP3s are all encoded with Preset: Standard and I don't come near to the song limit on a 2GB card.

Saving screen shots ...
If you get into Engineering Mode it's possible to put the RNS-E into a "Screen Shot" mode to save pictures from the screen onto the SD card.
