Default Searching for the elusive RS4 Avant here in the US?

Not shown well in this camera phone pic are the aluminum mirror housings. Taken at the NRA range several months ago...what a frigging idiot.

Default Actually, I know the owner of this car.....
He has actually transplanted a complete B5 RS4 motor into the vehicle, along with a custom built transmission and custom fabricated exhaust. I believe he is running the B5 RS4 suspension also. Unfortunately, to retain the overall stock/stealth appearance he had to keep a stock Jetta brake set-up since the stock Jetta wheels won't fit over the RS4's brakes. Seriously stealth.

BTW, he owns a rice processing plant.

Default Sounds like a genius....
Doubling the engine output and keeping stock brakes? Shouldn't he have upgraded the brakes <b>first</b>?

And, if he going for stealth, he should pull that silly RS4 badge off the car.

In the end, it is still a Passat and his rice expertise would be better spent tricking out a Honda.
