Several discoveries made during exploratory surgery.
I've discovered that the stock pedals are not positioned well for heel-and-toe. Therefore, I did some poking around to see what installing aftermarket pedals would involve.
Things I have found:
The brake pedal is a simple slip-on cover. Getting an aftermarket brake pedal on here should not be difficult.

The gas pedal will be a little harder. The whole pedal, arm, pad assembly is molded as a single piece. The rubbery bits are integrated with the harder plastic arm. I will have to remove the metal insert and do some carving of the rubbery bits to get an aftermarket pedal on here.

Believe it or not, the clutch pedal assembly is built the same as as the gas pedal. Yep, the entire arm is plastic!

Another curiosity I found is that the side dimming mirrors do not dim across the entire surface. There is a narrow border around the edge that does not dim at all.

Re: Several discoveries made during exploratory surgery.
the dimming thing is probably done to let you "know" that its dimming it for you...otherwise you wouldnt be able to make the distinction
would have been better if the gas pedal was slip-off cause thats the real factor in heal-toe
