Default Shift ****
Got my 2007 RS4 about 6 weeks ago and all the pics ive seen have an silver topped shift ****. My shift **** is black like the standard S4 anyone else with this black topped shift ****?

how much would it be to order the silver ****?

Stupid I know but just wondering...

Default I would have the dealer get the silver one for you if that is what everyone else has.
NO CHARGE. I would insist on it especially at the price you paid. Have them throw in the european flat botttom steerring wheel for your trouble!

Weird. can you post a photo? I take it that underneath the **** the stalk is aluminum?

I wonder if the late '07 build cars (with the chrome strips on the dash buttons) have that ****.

Very weird. I have a B run 07, and I have the silver top aluminum stalk shifter.

Default you clearly got the wrong ****...
I got mine about 4 weeks ago and it has the aluminum ****, which IMHO is of much higher quality and feel... Make them replace it--it is an obvious friday afternoon build error.

Maybe an A4/S4 owner lifted the genuine ****, so the $tealer popped a replacement on...
