The silence on the Milltek System is deafening.
Is there any chance it could actually drop the HP and/or torque on a highly tuned motor like the RS4? (at least highly tuned by factory standards) I don't remember where I read it but some of the aftermarket exhausts for the Ferrari 360 and 430 cars did drop power over the stock system. The Milltek system sounds so good it simply defies reason that there is no data to substantiate the manufacturer's HP claims.

What claims?
Does Miltek even go as far as making any?
Because if it did at least that would be a step in the direction of hope..
I agree with the spirit of what you're saying though.
I am highly dissapointed in this whole Miltek affair...

From the Milltek website
Milltek Sport, in conjunction with Swiss importer Tranchet Trading and tuning partner Digit-Power have released promising results from the first tests of their new cat-back exhaust system for the latest high-performance Audi RS4 4.2V8 B7. The car is rated at 420bhp as standard and with the new cat-back system fitted, showed an improvement of 10.2hp @ 5900 rpm and 20.7nm @ 2610 rpm!

Sound isn't good enough but 10HP is?
If you like the sound but that isn't reason enough for you to get the Milltek system, then I have trouble seeing that an extra 10HP is. It's a 2% increase over the stated OEM performance.
I guess that could make the difference at the checkered flag if you're tracking the RS4 competitively but it seems like a stretch to use it as justification for getting the exhaust. If you like the way it sounds, and you can afford it, buy it! Don't fool yourself with the 10HP.
