does anyones know what size the turn signal bulb is?...body shop is clearing my headlights and they claim that i bulb is amber...im trying to figure out what to replace it with

I'm pretty sure some folks had difficulty with melting the lense due to over heating as a result of replacing w/ a performance bulb. I thought the issue was with Sylvania's SilverStar Signal Bulb (7507A)...but I could be mistaken.

They are painted silver and blink amber. The bulbs inside mine were clear and blinked white, hence the replacement. I don't know why Audi would put an amber bulb inside an amber cone. because i have the blinker lights coded to be off when the lights are on, so it will only be amber when blinking..and i dont need trouble with jersey cops

does anyone know the wattage and amperage..body shop claims that while 1156 is the compatible bulb and will fit, audi bulbs may run on different amperage and does not recommend using an aftermarket bulb
