Default smoked side reflectors

Just recently I had all my side markers smoked at a local paint shop. The paint was purchased online and given to the auto body shop. Below is the link to the website. Here are the pics.

Thank you to all that advised me to smoke out the sidemarkers.

http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-416.cfm</a

Default Hmmm...

I can definitely see orange on front and red on rear showing thru. That's what happens when you try and paint an opaque surface. Also, a primer coat may help somewhat...doen't look like that was done.

I actually wanted the reflecter to show through, they are smoked. They appear orange and red only at certain angles and more so in pics. Plus that is the look I was going for. I would have just painted them body color if I did not want them orange and red.

Sorry, smoked...I thought they were supposed to be body colored, my mistake.

Default Looks nice, I have a few questions

I have been thinking of color matching the reflectors but also like this look.

Do the reflectors still work as reflectors?

Do you know if your body shop painted the reflectors while attached to the car? (it seems they are a bear to remove)

i actually had the smoked sidemarkers from ecstuning until they started to produce condensation. Otherwise I would have, but the condensation showed up after the paintjob.

Default Someone actually had rear ended me two months ago...

I was repainting the rear bumper anyways and brought them the paint to do the front and rear side reflectors. i am assuming both the rear and front bumpers were removed at least partially. I didn't try to do it myself.
