Snow Day today, it's an Audi playground out there.
18" x 225 Dunlop M3's
TorSen AWD
Traction Control
Stability Control
Anti-Lock Brakes
Heated seats
Heated Washer Solvent
Regular practice in empty parking lots
Regular attendance at performance driving schools
Regular participation in organized competitive driving events
Loud exhaust to let people know you're having fun
Practically everything is closed today, the roads are relatively void of traffic. If there's a better winter car, I've not found it. Absolutely smokes all my past winter cars (BMW 330xi, Cadillac SRX AWD V8, 3 Jeeps).
I was gassing up this morning and the guy with the Chevy Malibu hollers over to me, "You gotta love this stuff" in a sarcastic tone. I replied "It's an Audi Playground out there today".
My chief complaint this time of year is that the governemt and news media's strategy for winter is stay home, or slow down. I never could understand why they don't educate people on winter driving preparedness. I think I know the answer: Speed differential is the real hazard, not speed itself. If they "let out the secret of winter driving", 1/2 the cars will be going 70, the other half will be going 35. I like it the way it is. Audi: the well kept secret.

Gawd I love that picture
Whenever I do that sideways stuff my wheels pack with snow and I get a shake on the highway due to wheel imbalance. It's worth it though that's for sure.
