so anyone blow a rim? how long did it take dealer to replace it?

Blow a rim? Do you mean bend, crack, damage?...
The dealer can have a new one in a day or two, but there might be a dealer in the area (Long Island) that has one in stock.

the tire ripped and the rim cracked...dealer offered a rim warranty 1100bucks
and covers bent/cracked/etc rims for 3 years...
clearly it just paid for istelf in 2-3 weeks of ownership

if you buy from Tire Rack, you could get their warranty.
having said that, I've seen several people post problems with "hazard" warranties over the years....they don't always cover the damage, unfair pro-rating policies, etc. those warranties are really just a way for the dealerships to make extra money...if they didn't, they wouldn't sell them.
