Default So this is good...DRC

I dropped my car off last week. Needed two struts. Took two days to come in (Friday). Today they went to install and one of the new struts was leaking ... in the box! Makes me wonder what that UPS driver was doing on the way to the dealership to overstress this design while still in the box.

I wonder how I can apply the TSB to that. Mmmm. Evaporation? Condensation? Atomization? Gremlins? Commie plot?

My SA is being nice and apologetic. I am frustrated, but with Audi not the service agent. An additional strut should be in tomorrow or Wednesday. My only criticism could be that no one looked at the parts on arrival on Friday to check if they were okay. That is, however, using the retrospectoscope and probably not fair. They wrongly assumed the new parts would be functional out of the box.

WOW/WTF leaking in the box! Doesn't give me much hope for replacement struts ever fixing the problem

Default I Rule !!!

I have set a new standard in DRC failure.

I will give the dealer a few more days, but I was on the phone with Jason of Stasis tonight. The MS system is looking better and better.

I believe my car is still assembled and I am considering just picking it up and taking it to a local performance shop (AWE)and being done with this issue once and for all.

I am still pissed I have to spend $4K to make my new car right.

Maybe the UPS driver was using it on his truck prior to delivery :-)
