So I just replaced my fog lamp bulbs with XenonMatchs and found out...
all the screws holding my fog lamp housings in were overtorqued from the factory! The screws came out with a whole lot of plastic in the threads. They hold the fog lamps well enough after putting them back in but they are spinning even after going in full depth. Anybody else have this happen to them?

3 out of 4 were stripped on mine. The screws still hold OK though.
No worries, the fog housings can't go anywhere anyways.
It does however elevate the project to at least three Duff Beers.

Ditto. I use mine as peripheral lighting.
If only we had the front sidelights like they have on Cadillacs, that would be sweet. :-P

Perhaps you have not lived in an area that gets much fog ?
When I lived in England, yellow fogs were pretty much the norm as the yellow lamps close to the road surface help cut through the glare that you get from your head lights. I was always amazed when I would see people turn on their hi-beams thinking it would help. WRONG ! It made the glare many times worse.
I lived out in the country-side in a small village along the river Thames and fog definitely got interesting sometimes. I remember one trip where I actually had to get out of the car to figure out where the side of the road was!! Scary !!!
