They'll continue with Brembo.

Default I'd say it's more for bling than anything else.

None of the cars that come with OEM Brembos other than porsche are track ready. The RS4 brakes with track pads installed are probably just as capable as an OEM Brembo offering.

Default You do know the RS4 brakes are from Brembo right?

I had a Brembo engineer talk me out of an upgrade as they found the RS4 OEM combo to have the highest heat resistance of any of their current non composite offerings.

Default That's why I said more for bling than anything.

There aren't really that many companies that manufacture brakes. To display the actual Brembo badging on the caliper would be more for bling than anything. Example - G35/350Z/STi.

Default That is a sales negotiation item...

And apparently the deal wasnt sweet enough for BREMBO to be displayed prominently on the caliper.
