Default So I've finally decided on a set of winter/track wheels

Winter Sport M3's for the cold
255/40/18
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec for the summer
245/40/18

Also going to pulling the trigger on the Stasis MS kit in the coming weeks. Just need to talk with the mechanic to make sure he approves. (I'm sure he will)

Clickity Click Click

I would get Yoko Advan Neovas over the Dunlops for summer if you want max performance.

Default that's exactly the same hartmann wheels I used for track/winter...

Jon bought them from me last year.

They're ideal for a winter set but not exactly the best choice for the track... they are very heavy wheels! Not sure of the exact weight in the RS4 fitment/offset but it's HEAVY. Significantly heavier than the stock 19" even though they're only 18".

EDIT: correction, I had the version with the center caps but essentially the same wheel and manufacturer so I don't see how they could be any different in weight.

Default the center caps weighed 10 lbs each!!!!!

Does it really make a huge difference on the track? The car is so heavy as it is. What's a few more lbs?

What are some other light weight options you looked at, that were still acceptable for winter use?

Default I have those on my A4. Here is what they will look like on a B7 not an RS4 but close enough.

I have 19s on my a6 and the excess pudge definitely hurts the acceleration and stopping power.
