Software update...
Going in for 40k KM sched service tomorrow, they informed me finally of the recall notice for the software upgrade. I remember this issue coming up awhile back, are there any problems with this? What does the upgrade do? The dealer as usual has no idea of course, they just say it improves everything...ya, sure.
It's a little scary though that these people have no idea what they are doing, they just are taught to push some buttons to update the software...I guess they don't have the curious george inside them like most of us.

First you talked to a service manager - and they may be pretty ignorant
The mechanics may know more about what is being changed and I would feel better that they did. It costs Audi money to do upgrades so they don't do it to f with you - it's a good thing.
