Some talk about delay in release of new M3 due to reliability issues

crap that sucks. if you remember, there was the same kind of talk going around with our RS4's...
regarding reliability issues due to high piston speeds, etc, but in the end, the delay wasn't that long.
Well this bmw delay will at least keep 335i coupe sales healthy not to mention increased demand for +boost +hp aftermarket tuning for the turbo'd bmw from those who are waiting for the E90 M3 but will have to settle for a modded 335i to hold them over. In this regard, it will probably not be detrimental to overall BMW sales at all because it will also increase M3 hype even more.
For us RS4 owners, that just means our cars will be king-of-the hill in this market segment for that much longer... a prolonged stint atop the heavy compact luxury sport sedan throne... not that I give a rat's *** about that crap because I'm looking forward to picking up an E90 M3 as well.

tough decision but prolly saying goodbye to the M5 this coming spring...
ordered an Exige-S as a track **** and maybe pick up the M3 whenever it gets here. Dealer I bought my M5 from promised me their first allocation for an E90 M3 if I wanted it. Definitely keeping the RS4 for a while because I need a winter car. I also want a Bugatti Veyron and a Pagani Zonda F but my accountant says I would need to drill on oil fields instead of teeth for that to ever happen

Is it just me but the comparos against the M3 are somewhat unjustifed..being that the M3 is a Coupe!
