For some reason I cannot pair my keyfob to a saved memory seat position, i.e. my key to mem position 1 and my wife's key to mem position 2.

I have followed the instructions in the manual but for some reason it doesn't seem to work. My understanding is that the seat position will adjust based on the keyfob used to unlock the doors; at least that's how it was on my old S4. Am I missing something?

from what I have heard here on the forum, it's unreliable... it works for some, and not others

Had the same issue with my 2003 A4. I took into the deal and asked them to show me how this is suppose to work. They couldn't get it to work either and replaced the unit in the door (Or someplace). Its works great now. As for the RS4 - no issues with the seat memory and fob coupling so far.
