Something bad has happened since I installed my Milltek....
I find myself driving too fast!!!
I just love hearing the thing. Again, very glad I went with the valved and resonated set-up. No question that without the resonators, there would be a drone under about 2500 rpms, especially under load. With resonators, it is still a touch loud in this area of the power band, but not in the least bit unpleasant. The valves, likewise, allow me to leave my nice residential neighborhood at 6:15am without waking everybody. There also those times when I just want quiet and the valves will give you that.
The car feels less restricted and definitely pulls harder in the lower rpms, although this isn't news to anybody at this point. Can't really tell a difference above 5000rpms, but the car was plenty fast in that range anyway.
Anyway, I had gone back and forth about what combination of stuff to get on this exhaust and in the end I went with the "complete" unit and I'm very glad I did. No other way to do it in my book.

Fully agree although I went with the non-res version a few weeks ago...
Have put more miles on it in the last 2 weeks than in the prior 2 months.... I do have a bit of drone between 1800 and 2000, but I actually don't mind ;-) And the roar on startup is unbelievable - I literally smile every time I start it up - awesome!

Happy with my non-resonated. do you polish the inside of the tips (exit holes?)
I have been, but it's not the easiest procedure. They look good when they are all shiny. I've been letting the inside go as of late and just keeping the outside lip clean.

I'm with you on the res solution. Love it too. How are you with living in Sport mode most of the
time? That's what's kept me away from the valved unit so far.
I don't find the need for anything quieter around town or on the twisties but for steady speed interstate stuff, I'd use it for sure.
Quad's do look good! Nice call on that.

Is there a 101 on the exhaust setups?
Mine came with Milltek non-res, pretty raw I'm familiar with the "flaps" from our R32, but there seems to be four combinations now, flaps with/wout resonator, and then more with more restricted stock...
