Default Sorry to audiworld and Stasis...

I apologize for venting on this forum. I usually would not do that, but I just got caught up in the heat of the moment.

To Jared, I think you just unfortunately happened to be in the path of my tirade, and to you I am the most apologetic.

To Jason, thank you for being so diplomatic. You really calmed things down.

You guys at Stasis are topnotch and do provide excellent knowledge and service. Your products are amazing, I just happened to have a terrible experience with one. I will continue to endorse and use your products, as there are really none better.

To those who related driving ability and knowledge of aftermarket products to a slipped clutch, **** you and your pompous asses. This could happen to anyone.

Default LOL.

i think that's the first apology i've read that includes a '**** you'.

so are you going back to the stock disc or ?

FWIW, thanks for being the guinea pig...and I don't mean that in the pejorative sense.

Default I thought you were satisfied with the alcon clutch? Any case...

I will contact my mechanic on tuesday. You could probably call Southbend and ask about the Audi RS4 clutch coming from Houston, TX and Reisu Motorsports.

Somewhat satisfied... I rather have a daily drivable clutch that holds better than stock. If it was purely a track car, I would leave the alcon setup in. I have previous experience with South Bend and loved the way the clutch felt and held. I'll call them Tuesday, thanks for the info.

Default I called and asked Reisu today...

he can't remember the contact guy's name. If you call Southbend with your needs and my car as a reference, they can probably get you to the guy you need to talk to. Basically, my stock clutch disc pads are being replaced with their kevlar pads.

Default Very good choice. I run a Kevlar SB disc on a B5 RS4 pressure plate. It's a great combination of

performance and driveability. There's zero chatter and grip is quite good.
