Default Source for Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40

For anyone that might be willing to try Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40, I found a site for it online. This is a 502 approved oil, and is supposed to be imported from Europe. For those who want to stay with a 502 oil for warranty purposes, this may be the way to go. Terry has suggested it as a possible alternative.

If you try it, take a an oil sample at 1500 and 3000 miles. We'll compare it to other oils we've seen so far. At $25.69 for 6 Qts, plus shipping, it's a good deal in a 502 full synthetic oil.

If you're currently using Castrol Syntec 5W-40, try this stuff for at least one fill. It can't be any worse, and is possibly better.

Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5W-40

That is a good price. Mobil 1 0w40 is about $6.5 per quart.

Default If I'd found this place several months ago, I would have tried it.

This is supposed to be some nice oil. For the price, including shipping, it's better than many of the other oils, so even if it does just as well, it's a bargain. With some luck, and a few confirming oil analysis, it might perform well. It's definitely worth a try. The Motul I was using was over $10 a liter, and the Elf was $7.50.
