Default Speaking of Dyno's: Here's my MTM exhaust dyno run

I picked the car up Tues morning. Ryan gave me a copy of this and he has pix as well of the mods. I ended upgrading to the Stasis MS suspension. The exhaust sounds awesome, nice xtra pull and the sshifter makes throws tighter.

Default Awesome! An extra 15 WHP and an extra 20 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. You'll enjoy the...

The STaSIS stuff too!

Default Why are there only 2 plots?

According to the information on the plots there are at least 9 plots total.

Is this a comparison of:

A) the best stock dyno run vs. the best modified dyno run?

B) the worst stock dyno run vs. the best modified dyno run?

C) none of the above

If you look at the wideband O2 reading, you'll see that the stock dyno run was quite a bit more lean ... and, something strange is occurring between 3000 and 4500 rpm. The stock run does not even maintain a stoichiometric mixture before full throttle. (Full throttle actually occurs around 4500 rpm.

IMO, the blue plot is not valid.

Default I am a dyno dummy, so...

I'll let Ryan and the boys at ICS chime in on this stuff. I do know that we ran a few dyno's after the the install and I assume they posted the best.

Default Aren't the two blue lines (one HP, one torque) for the runs with the stock exhaust and ...

The two red plots (one for HP and one for torque) the run with the MTM exhaust?

At least that's the way I understand it.

Default If that is WTQ and run 1 is stock that is a massive gain from just full exhaust

almost too good to believe

It also seems pretty fishy that it's almost exactly 15wHP the entire way through the rev range

Default If you're implying they cooked the run....

just to sell more MTM systems or to justify the price; your way off base. I think based on the last thread where I posted, no one else is going to spend the money to buy MTM. Their bread & butter is Milltek and other systems. And they knew that even if I only got 5hp, I was cool as long as it sounded good.

I would also assume MTM is not going to bring something to market that wouldn't add some decent gains, for them, 15 hp is meaningless.
