Speed Hump Take Off update!!!!
Just spoke with Audi 1 of the 2 rear shockers is leaking,i guess we will never know if speed hump caused this, Audi not keen to warranty cos its been lowered , even though it was them that lowered it lol,
Service manager is having a go anyway, but if not replcement for the 2 rear shocks is $1100 ....each!! holy crap batman
If 1 is leaking only, should i just replace the leaky 1 , why both?

PSA: this is the attitude one should have when modding ones car.
I admire your nonchalance and willingness to admit fault. You'd be surprised how many people would blame this on Audi and then b1tch about it when they won't fix it under warranty. Throw those shox on the barbie, mate!

I guess it's a matter of perspective...
...it's pretty clear that if a part is modded (or in this case a part *related* to a part is modded), the warranty on said part is void. So regardless of the physical cause, if the part (or related part) fails, you're on your own...take it like a man.

However, manufacturers are notorious for trying to deny claims completely unrelated to the mod...
"Oh, you have a BBK, sorry, your warranty is void and we cannot fix your headlight leveler."
Sure it's illegal for the manufacturer to do so but litigating usually makes little economic sense.
I'd also wager that the leaky DRC shock had little to do with the "speed hump."
