It's fairly involved to get the starter button installed...
however a few folks have done it. Requires a console change, handbrake change, switch, wiring, etc. If you are truly interested I have supplied parts for this to be fitted so just let me know, it ends up being more than most want to spend and can't be done without all of the parts being changed.

Its a pretty stupid thing to get in my opinion. You lose your only useful cup holders in the car and you still have to turn the key first and then hit the button to get the car to turn on, its not like most start button where you just hit the button and the car turns on.

Yep, I'm in Australia, and we have the start button in our RS4's. It's crap, and I'd prefer to just turn the key (given you need to turn it anyway).
If someone had a "comfort access/remote key" thing, and all you had to do was jump it and press the start button, different story.

its more for the wow factor, i installed it in my b6 s4 when i still had it cus it had the same console as the euro b7's did so all i needed was a relay the button and the cigg lighter assembly
