Stasis installed...large picture so no dialups.
<center><img src="http://members.***.net/gourmet-chef/Stasis1.jpg"></center><p>Sorry about the picture, I forgot to set for 1M and it defualts at 10M. I did cut it down but the size remains.
Anyway, after lots of careful study and to no small credit to the archives of this board I went with the Stasis suspension. So far after 30 miles or so I am delighted, reminds me of my E46 M3 with the ACS suspension I installed.
GMG did the work and while this is not cheap I just could not see either springs only or the KW option on this car. The ride is excellent and the stance is exactly what I wanted. I did opt for the street version as I have a E30 M3 for the track.
The look is just incredible.
I will post some other pictures later when I make them less human sized

Street version?..
Did you end up getting the Stasis "motorsport" coilovers or another set called "Street" Im a little confused. Or, does the Motorsport have a street setting.
Nevertheless, the car height looks good. How does the ride compare to stock? How much harsher if at all?
I had an M3 that I put the Bilstein PSS9 coilovers on. It was the only modification I regretted. The ride became so harsh that man hole covers and the slightest road imperfection would bring about panic attacks. Wile I would love to lower the RS4, I dont want to ruin the ride. I think its perfect right now.

Thanks for the oppurtunity - Welcome to the "Family"!!!
The Stasis Ohlins kit makes perfect sense for the Rs4 - The dampening of the ohlins are near perfect and the spring is spot on.
I have this set up on my A4 and love it. It makes all more sense on the RS4
If anyone has any questions or would like to schedule an install feel free to give us a call.
We have done several RS4's with the various spring rates . Its a system that works.!!!!
"Stasis Engineering Premier Dealer and Install facility!"
Corner balance are also available.<ul><li><a href="http://www.gmgracing.com">http://www.gmgracing.com</a</li></ul>

Yes, the difference is the springs
I opted for the one tailored for street use.
I did not do a coilover system on my E46 M3 and went with the ACS system for that very reason! I would say that the ride is perhaps 10-15% stiffer, however my wife hardly noticed if at all.
The cornering is now Exacto-knife like, it really is worth every penny I spent for that reason alone. Of course I read everyones reviews before ordering but was worried as I have just over 500 miles on my car...between GMG's work ( my car was probably the cheapest car in their shop) and the look when completed....I'm very happy with the money spent.
If you're in Southern California GMG is the shop and this is the proper suspension mod for the RS4. I paid full price so this is not a paid opinion....worth it.
