Default Stock Wheels and wider tires & OIL

I see a lot of people on here running 275/30/19 on stock wheels?

IS this correct?

Does anything need to be modified to do this
I am looking for summer tires (Re-11's)and would like to go wider
Do the fenders need to be rolled/suspension etc?
I did have the DRC recall completed last week

Also Dealer told me they changed their supplier on engine oil
I usually buy 2-3 bottles after an oil change and was suprised to see AGIP oil-with the same specs.

TIA

The 275 is too large for the 9" wheel. Sure it can be done but it isn't the optimum setup for handling. Also the RE11's, although very very grippy, are too heavy.

I just installed 255 RE-11's two days ago. I had OEM PZero Rosso's before. According to the Tire Rack web site, the Pirelli's are 26 lbs and the Bridgestone's are 28 lbs. No way anyone could tell the difference. The RE-11's have far superior grip, however.

You'd be able to tell a difference if you were running PS2's prior.
